Detailed Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how We collect, use, and share information when you use the Gravity Locket App. By using this App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Definitions

We/Us/Our/Developer refers to 'Chaska For You' (and its creator Shagun Verma), the developers of this App.
App refers to the Gravity Locket application.
Personal Information means any information that can be used to identify you personally, such as your name, email address, phone number, etc.
Usage Information means data collected automatically when you use the App, such as device type, Android version, device information, page visits, etc.
Data refers to any information collected or shared by the App, like Usage Information.
Third-party SDKs refers to software development kits from other companies that are integrated into the App to provide additional functionality, such as analytics, crash reporting, and advertisements.

Data Collection, Sharing, and Retention

We generally do not collect, share, or retain any Personal Information on our servers. The App is designed to respect your privacy. However, to enable certain optional features, the App may temporarily process Photos (if you select a custom image for your floating locket) and Sensor Data (accelerometer physics). This data is processed ephemerally and stored entirely locally on your device to make the locket function. We never transmit, store, or share your photos or sensor data with any external servers or third parties.
We have implemented Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics in this App to collect Usage Information (Crashlogs, Page visits, etc.) for improving the App's performance and user experience. This data is collected automatically and does not include any Personal Information.
We do not share any data with third parties except for the anonymous Usage Information, Advertisement IDs, and Approximate Location (inferred from IP address) processed by Firebase, RevenueCat, and Google AdMob. These services are used strictly for app performance monitoring, purchase validation, fraud prevention, and displaying advertisements.
We do not retain any data collected by the App. The Usage Information collected by Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics is stored on the Google Cloud Servers and is subject to their respective privacy policies.

Special Permissions & Device Features

To provide the core "floating physics" experience, Gravity Locket utilizes the following Android permissions and features securely and locally on your device:

Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Required to draw the floating locket on top of your screen while you use other applications.
Background Execution (FOREGROUND_SERVICE & SPECIAL_USE): Required to keep the physics engine active and the locket responsive while the app is closed.
Run at Startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Required to automatically restart your customized floating locket when your device reboots.
Accelerometer Sensor: Accessed strictly locally to calculate the real-time gravity, swinging, and bouncing physics of the locket. This sensor data never leaves your device.

Installed Apps Visibility (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES)

Gravity Locket allows you to launch your favorite applications using single-tap, double-tap, and pull-down gestures. To provide this functionality, the App requires the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission to access the list of installed applications on your device.
How it is used: The App strictly uses this permission to generate a visual list of your installed apps (fetching only the app's name, icon, and package name) so you can assign actions to your locket gestures.
Privacy Guarantee: Your inventory of installed apps is processed entirely locally on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share your installed app list with any external servers or third parties.

Indian Personal Data Protection Bill (PDPB)

This App can be used by anyone, including users in India. However, it does not collect or share any Personal Information from users in India. Therefore, it is not subject to the Indian Personal Data Protection Bill (PDPB) or any other data protection laws in India.
In-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing, which is governed by Google's policies. Google Play Billing does not share any Personal Information with us, the developers.

European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

This App can be used by anyone, including users in the European Union (EU). While the App itself does not ask for your name or email, it does process device identifiers and Advertisement IDs through Google AdMob to serve personalized ads.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK, Google AdMob complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by utilizing standardized consent mechanisms (such as the User Messaging Platform) to ask for your permission before serving personalized advertisements. You can manage these ad preferences directly through your device settings or the app settings as well.

In-app purchases history

All in-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing, which is governed by Google's policies.
To securely manage your "Lifetime" access, this App uses a third-party service called RevenueCat. RevenueCat validates the purchase receipt and manages the unlock status using an anonymous App User ID. Neither Google Play Billing nor RevenueCat shares any personally identifiable information (like your name) with us.

Advertisements

This App contains advertisements served through Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect Usage Information automatically, such as Advertisement ID, device type, Android version, device information, and Approximate Location (inferred from your device's IP address).

This data is strictly used for fraud prevention and to show personalized, relevant ads based on your general region and interests. You can learn more about how Google uses your data in their Privacy Policy.

Child Protection (and COPPA)

This App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We have implemented blocking controls in Google AdMob to protect children from sensitive ad content. However, if you still see any sensitive ads, please report them to Google (using on-display instructions) or contact us via the methods given at the end of this policy.

We have no plans to make changes to this policy in the near future. However, if we change anything in this policy, it will be updated on this page. Therefore, we request you to check this page regularly and note the last updated date linked at the top of this policy.
