Long Press Menu

Terms of Service (EULA)

License Grant

Chaska For You grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Long Press Menu app strictly in accordance with these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is")

The App is provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Developer expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

The App relies on Android's digital assistant (voice interaction) framework: the menu only opens while the App is your device's default digital assistant app, and whether a long press of the power button, a long press of the Home button, or the assistant gesture reaches the assistant is decided by Android and your device's manufacturer, not by the App. On some devices and Android versions a long press of the power button always shows the power menu, and the App can then only be opened with the assistant gesture. Copy Text and Search Image depend on Android's "Use text from screen" and "Use screenshot" settings and on what the current app allows Android to share; some apps and secure screens share nothing, and the text that is read may be incomplete or differ from what you see. Search Image depends on Google Lens, the Google app, or another app on your device being able to receive images. Heavily modified or restricted Android operating systems (OEM skins), aggressive battery-optimization settings, or a system update that changes how the assistant is launched may stop the menu from opening. We do not guarantee that the menu will open, that an app or shortcut will launch, or that copied text or a shared image will be accurate or complete. The App is a convenience tool only and is not a safety-critical system; do not rely on it for emergency, medical, or security purposes.

Usage Restrictions

You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Modify, make derivative works of, disassemble, decrypt, or reverse compile any part of the App.
  • Use the App, including Copy Text and Search Image, to capture, copy, or share content from other people's screens or accounts without their permission, to circumvent another app's security or content protections, or for any purpose that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice (including any notice of copyright or trademark) of the Developer or its affiliates.

Assistant Role, Screen Data & Backup Responsibility

The App's core purpose is to open a menu of the apps and app shortcuts you picked when you hold the power button (or use the assistant gesture) while it is your device's default digital assistant app and, if you have allowed it in Android's assistant settings, to copy the visible text of your screen to the clipboard or to pass a screenshot of your screen to Google Lens, the Google app, or an app you choose. Your app list and your menu are read and stored only on your device. Screen text and screenshots are only handled when you tap Copy Text or Search Image; the last screenshot you searched remains in the App's cache folder until it is replaced, the cache is cleared, or the App is uninstalled. You are responsible for what you copy or share with those features and for the apps you choose to send a screenshot to, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Uninstalling the App, clearing the App's data, choosing a different default digital assistant app, or resetting your device may permanently and irreversibly delete your saved menu and preferences, or stop the menu from opening. You are solely responsible for setting the App as your assistant again and for rebuilding any menu that is important to you. The Developer is not responsible for a menu that does not open, for an app or shortcut that does not launch, or for any settings or data that are lost.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Developer be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of privacy, loss of data, text copied or a screenshot shared by mistake, a menu that does not open or an app that does not launch when you need it, damage to your device, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the App.

In-App Purchases

The App may offer optional premium features through in-app purchases. All payments are processed by Google Play Billing and are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies. Purchase validation and premium access management are handled through a third-party service called RevenueCat using an anonymous identifier. We do not receive or store your payment details. In this App that is a one-time "Pro" purchase that removes ads and lifts the free limit on the number of menu items; it can be restored from the App's settings.

Business Transfers & Acquisition

The Developer reserves the right to sell, transfer, or assign this App, its associated codebase, assets, and these Terms of Service to a third party in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. In such an event, your continued use of the App signifies your agreement to be bound by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of the subsequent owner or acquiring company.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically within the jurisdiction of Uttar Pradesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
