Detailed Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how We collect, use, and share information when you use the Quick Floats App. By using this App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Definitions

I/We/Us/Me/Developer refers to 'Shagun Verma', the developer of this App.
App refers to the Quick Floats application.
Personal Information means any information that can be used to identify you personally, such as your name, email address, phone number, etc.
Usage Information means data collected automatically when you use the App, such as device type, Android version, device information, page visits, etc.
Data refers to any information collected or shared by the App, like Usage Information.
Third-party SDKs refers to software development kits from other companies that are integrated into the App to provide additional functionality, such as analytics, crash reporting, and advertisements.

Camera and Microphone Usage

This App requests Camera and Microphone permissions strictly to provide its core features: capturing photos and recording audio. When you use these tools, all media files are securely saved directly into your device's internal storage. I do not upload, transmit, share, or store your photos, audio recordings, or quick notes on any external servers. Everything you capture remains completely private and accessible only to you on your device.

Data Collection, Sharing, and Retention

I do not collect, share, or retain any Personal Information from you when you use this App. The App is designed to respect your privacy and does not require any personal data to function.
I have implemented Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics in this App to collect Usage Information (Crashlogs, Page visits, etc.) for improving the App's performance and user experience. This data is collected automatically and does not include any Personal Information.
I do not share any data with third parties except for the anonymous Usage Information and Advertisement IDs processed by Firebase, RevenueCat, and Google AdMob. These services are used strictly for app performance monitoring, purchase validation, and displaying advertisements.
I do not retain any data collected by the App. The Usage Information collected by Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics is stored on the Google Cloud Servers and is subject to their respective privacy policies.

Indian Personal Data Protection Bill (PDPB)

This App can be used by anyone, including users in India. However, it does not collect or share any Personal Information from users in India. Therefore, it is not subject to the Indian Personal Data Protection Bill (PDPB) or any other data protection laws in India.
In-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing, which is governed by Google's policies. Google Play Billing does not share any Personal Information with me, the developer.

European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

This App can be used by anyone, including users in the European Union (EU). While the App itself does not ask for your name or email, it does process device identifiers and Advertisement IDs through Google AdMob to serve personalized ads.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK, Google AdMob complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by utilizing standardized consent mechanisms (such as the User Messaging Platform) to ask for your permission before serving personalized advertisements. You can manage these ad preferences directly through your device settings or the app settings as well.

In-app purchases history

All in-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing, which is governed by Google's policies.
To securely manage your "Lifetime" access, this App uses a third-party service called RevenueCat. RevenueCat validates the purchase receipt and manages the unlock status using an anonymous App User ID. Neither Google Play Billing nor RevenueCat shares any personally identifiable information (like your name or credit card) with the developer.

Advertisements

This App contains advertisements from Google-Certified Ads Network. These ads may collect Usage Information automatically, such as Advertisement id, device type, Android version, device information, page visits, etc. This data is used to show personalized ads based on your interests.

Child Protection (and COPPA)

This App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. I have implemented blocking controls in Google AdMob to protect children from sensitive ad content. However, if you still see any sensitive ads, please report them to Google (using on-display instructions) or contact me via the methods given at the end of this policy.

Future Changes

I have no plans to make changes to this policy in the near future. However, if I change anything in this policy, it will be updated on this page. Therefore, I am requesting you to check this page regularly and note the last updated date linked at the top of this policy.
