    When you scan an item's QR code, this app uses your device's back facing camera (with auto-focus and flash-light features) with your permission. The device's camera is activated only when the scanner for this app is in the foreground (when you are using the scanner feature of this app). When this app is in the background (paused or completely closed) the camera and its data are not used or processed in any way.
