Data Collection, Sharing, and Retention

We generally do not collect, share, or retain any Personal Information on our servers. The App is designed to respect your privacy. To provide its core cleaning features, the App scans and analyzes your Photos, Videos, and Documents directly on your device using an on-device AI model. This data is processed ephemerally in your device's memory and stored only as needed locally on your device to make the App function. We never transmit, store, or share your files, file names, or file contents with any external servers or third parties.

We have implemented Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics in this App to collect Usage Information (Crashlogs, Page visits, etc.) for improving the App's performance and user experience. This data is collected automatically and does not include any Personal Information.

We do not share any data with third parties except for the anonymous Usage Information, Advertisement IDs, and Approximate Location (inferred from IP address) processed by Firebase, RevenueCat, and Google AdMob. These services are used strictly for app performance monitoring, purchase validation, fraud prevention, and displaying advertisements.

We do not retain any data collected by the App. The Usage Information collected by Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics is stored on the Google Cloud Servers and is subject to their respective privacy policies.

Special Permissions & Device Features

To scan, analyze, and clean up your storage, Low to Go Storage Cleaner requests the following Android permissions. All access is used securely and strictly on your device:

  • All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)

The core permission required to scan your entire storage for duplicate photos, large media, and junk files, and to delete or compress the files you choose. This permission is used only to find and clean up files on your own device, and you can grant or revoke it at any time from your device settings.

  • Storage Read/Write (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)

Requested on older Android versions (Android 10 and below) to read and modify files on your device for the same cleaning features described above.

  • Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS)

Required to measure installed apps' cache and storage usage, so the App can show you which apps are occupying the most space. This data is strictly processed on your device and is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party.

On-Device AI Processing (Google MobileNet V3-lite)

Low to Go Storage Cleaner uses an on-device AI model, Google MobileNet V3-lite, to analyze your media, detect duplicate or similar photos, identify what can be compressed, and classify junk files.

How it is used: The model runs entirely on your device. Your photos, videos, and documents are processed locally, and only the resulting analysis (such as a similarity score or a suggested action) is used within the App.

Privacy Guarantee: No image, video, document, or AI analysis result is ever uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party. Everything happens on your device, even when you are offline.

Indian Data Protection (DPDP Act, 2023)

This App can be used by anyone, including users in India. India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) gives you rights over your digital personal data. This section explains how the App relates to that law.

  • What we do not hold

European Privacy Rights (GDPR and UK GDPR)

This App can be used by anyone, including users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. If you live in one of these regions, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent local laws give you specific rights. This section explains what is processed, why, and how you stay in control.

  • Who is responsible

Chaska For You is responsible for the App and is your point of contact for privacy requests. Our service providers (Firebase, RevenueCat, and Google AdMob) process data on our behalf or, for advertising, under their own privacy policies.

  • What is processed and why

While the App itself does not ask for your name or email, it does process device identifiers and Advertisement IDs through Google AdMob to serve ads, crash reports and usage statistics through Firebase to keep the App stable and improve it, and an anonymous App User ID through RevenueCat to validate your purchases.

  • Your consent for ads

For users in the EEA and the UK, Google AdMob complies with the GDPR by utilizing standardized consent mechanisms (such as the User Messaging Platform) to ask for your permission before serving personalized advertisements. You can change or withdraw this choice at any time through the app settings or your device settings.

  • Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

  • International transfers

Our service providers may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. They rely on the safeguards described in their own privacy policies, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

  • Retention

We do not keep copies of this data ourselves. It is retained by the service providers for the periods described in their privacy policies.

  • How to use your rights

Email us at [email protected] and tell us which App and which right your request is about. We will respond within the time limits required by law, normally within one month.

In-App Purchases

All in-app purchases are processed through Google Play Billing, which is governed by Google's policies.

To securely manage your premium access, this App uses a third-party service called RevenueCat. RevenueCat validates the purchase receipt and manages the unlock status using an anonymous App User ID. Neither Google Play Billing nor RevenueCat shares any personally identifiable information (like your name) with us.

Advertisements

This App contains advertisements served through Google AdMob. Google AdMob may collect Usage Information automatically, such as Advertisement ID, device type, Android version, device information, and Approximate Location (inferred from your device's IP address).

This data is strictly used for fraud prevention and to show personalized, relevant ads based on your general region and interests. You can learn more about how Google uses your data in their Privacy Policy.
